The study looked at how different amounts of nitrogen fertilizer affect the growth and quality of flue-cured tobacco in China. They tested four levels of nitrogen fertilizer and found that higher amounts led to thicker stems, longer and wider leaves, and increased tobacco leaf yield. The best quality tobacco was produced with 120.0 kg/ha of nitrogen fertilizer.
