The study analyzed agriculture technology innovation and modern agriculture development in Hunan Province. Results show that modern agriculture is not well developed, and there is a lack of strong push for technological innovation. Regional differences in innovation and development were also found. To improve, traditional agriculture needs to transform into modern agriculture, technology innovation must be strengthened, and core areas should lead the way in demonstrating, driving, and influencing others.
