EU is relying heavily on imported energy, mostly from Russia, which creates security concerns. The EU is trying to diversify energy sources to reduce this dependency. However, individual EU countries having different energy priorities are leading to a lack of unity in the EU's energy policy. This is hindering further integration in energy planning. Utilizing energy resources from the Caspian region through Turkey could enhance the EU's energy security. The EU needs to collaborate better to ensure stable energy supplies.
