The article discusses how landscapes change due to human activities, with some becoming degraded or devastated. Sustainable landscape management aims to restore balance by renaturalizing and recultivating areas. This process creates renaturalized and recultivated landscapes, which are considered sustainable. An example is the transformation of disused quarries in Krakow into such landscapes.
