Gender diversity boosts Dutch firm performance, education and nationality have no impact.
The study looked at how different types of diversity on company boards in the Netherlands affected the financial performance of those companies in 2013. They focused on education, nationality, age, and gender diversity. The results showed that having more women on the board was linked to better financial performance, but having board members with diverse educational backgrounds or nationalities didn't seem to make a difference. This suggests that gender diversity quotas set by governments could be beneficial for companies.
