The study looked at managing water quality in a polluted sea in Japan. They used a model to simulate how different areas responded to pollution. They found that reducing certain pollutants could improve water quality in the eastern part of the sea. However, increasing pollution could lead to more plant growth without necessarily increasing fish populations.
