Land management reform in African countries aims to improve land tenure security, investment, and productivity while reducing poverty and promoting equity in land access. This study in Ghana examines how different methods of measuring land tenure security impact farm investment decisions. The researchers analyzed data from 11 districts across 4 agro-ecological zones and found that the way tenure security is quantified influences household land improvement investment choices.
