A new method for digital forensics has been developed to speed up the process of creating images of evidence by 6.5 times. This method uses parallel algorithms instead of the slower sequential ones currently in use. By implementing this new approach, investigators can preserve digital evidence more quickly and efficiently during criminal investigations involving computers and communication devices.
