The Workforce and Diversity Management Office at KSC is developing a competency-based workforce planning model. They have created a multidimensional data model to support this approach, which will help in making smart decisions for workforce planning. The model includes components that focus on competencies and skills, and various schemes have been proposed to support it. This proof of concept shows that using a competency-driven workforce planning model can lead to more effective human resource management.
