The study analyzed how rainwater turns into runoff in a river basin using a model called SED. The researchers compared the model's predictions with actual data from a river station. They used a method called Fletcher-Powell to figure out the best parameters for the model. The results showed that the SED model was good at simulating runoff from rainfall.
