Alaska pipeline construction accelerates, bringing energy relief to US consumers.
Construction has started on new pipelines in Alaska to transport natural gas to the US. Two projects are underway, with a third planned. Once completed, these pipelines will deliver 1 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day to consumers in the West and Midwest. This early completion will help secure funding for the rest of the project, control costs, and reduce labor and capital needs during construction.
