Livestock farming in Central and Eastern Europe faces challenges, so researchers studied farms in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and the Slovak Republic. They found that the Livestock Farming Systems approach from Western Europe can be adapted to larger farms in CEE. This research provides insight into how livestock farming is managed in these countries and highlights the need for further study in this area.
