Boeing under FAA investigation for delayed reporting of faulty 757 wiring.
Boeing is being investigated for not telling the FAA right away about faulty wiring in 757 fire extinguisher systems. They found the problem in August 1988 but only reported it in January 1989. The rules on reporting are not clear.
