Chuncheon city in Korea is undergoing a transformation to become a sustainable cultural and tourism hub. The concept of landscape urbanism is being used to guide this change, focusing on the relationship between the city and its natural surroundings. By analyzing design proposals for the city's development, it was found that landscape urbanism principles are not widely implemented in large-scale projects in Korea. This highlights the need for landscape professionals to have a more significant role in urban design collaborations.
