New Line Segment Method Boosts Efficiency of Network Topology Aggregation.
The article introduces a new method called the star topology aggregation using line segments to improve network efficiency. By using a depth-first search approach based on hop count, the method efficiently explores multiple paths between nodes. The researchers propose a modified line segment algorithm that reduces topology information and enhances flexibility in aggregating multiple links. Through computer simulations, it was found that the proposed method outperformed existing techniques in terms of call success rate, access time, and crankback rate.
