Sunscreens Slash Energy Costs, Boost Comfort for Office Workers
This research looked at how sunlight can be used in office buildings to save energy. They compared how well an office building performed with and without special sun-blocking screens. By using a small model of an office building and a special machine to mimic the sky, they tested how different kinds of sunlight affected the building. The results showed that using these sun-blocking screens can improve the amount of natural light inside the building, which helps save energy and makes the space more comfortable for the people inside. The study proves that simple changes to the design of buildings can have big benefits in terms of saving energy and creating better working environments.
