Corporate annual reports fail to predict share prices, impacting stock investments.
The study looked at how information in company annual reports relates to stock prices in the Dhaka Stock Exchange. They examined factors like Earnings Per Share and Dividend Yield Ratio. The research found that Dividend Yield Ratio and Earnings Per Share have a positive connection to share prices. However, overall, the corporate performance indices studied do not have a strong relationship with stock price fluctuations in the DSE. This suggests that investors should not rely solely on these factors when making decisions about buying or selling stocks.
