Paper Summary

Sodic soil can limit crop growth due to poor water flow. A study looked at how adding sodium affects water movement in different soil types. Sandy loam soil had the best water flow when sodium levels increased by 10%. Clay soil also improved, but loam soil was less affected. Increasing sodium levels can help water flow better in certain types of soil.
