Ecological corridors threatened by unchecked development, risking biodiversity loss
The study looked at how an ecological corridor in NE Poland is affected by changes in the landscape, like new buildings and tourism spots. They focused on 29 areas in NE Poland to see where conflicts between land use and nature connections happen. The research found that without laws to protect these ecological networks, it's important to carefully plan how land is used to keep the environment healthy and diverse.
