A project is underway in Saudi Arabia to build a massive pipeline to transport a large amount of crude oil from the Ghawar oilfields to Yanbu. The pipeline will be constructed using specific pipes and block valves, along with various facilities like pump stations and storage tanks. The route of the pipeline faces different terrains, and specific welding procedures are being used. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is also working on an offshore terminal to load oil onto tankers.
