The study looked at how different soil textures and irrigation times affect the growth and yield of Dioscorea batatas DECNE. They found that sandy loam soil lost water more quickly than loam soil. Tuber yield was higher in Jang-Ma compared to Dan-Ma, especially in loam soil. Overall, sandy loam soil was found to be more suitable for the growth of Dioscorea batatas DECNE than loam soil.
