Some focus on big cities, others on smaller towns. They mainly focus on environmental protection and social inclusion. Integrated Territorial Investments are used in urban areas but also in other regions. They cover themes like innovation, low carbon economy, and social cohesion. Community-led Local Development funds vary across countries and regions. They can be used in urban and peri-urban areas. Most countries use program Managing Authorities to oversee these funds.
