They found that adding rice to the yogurt increased the production of acid by bacteria, which helps with fermentation. The taste of the yogurt wasn't affected by how long the rice was stored. However, the thickness of the yogurt increased with longer storage of the rice. The yogurt also stayed fresh for a good amount of time, even with different storage periods of the rice.
