The article analyzes the actual construction costs of public apartment houses in Korea to determine the proper construction cost. By studying 23 public apartment houses completed from 2004 to 2007, the researchers classified important cost items and compared actual construction costs per area. They found and presented a formula for calculating the presumed construction cost based on average actual costs.
