Orebody modeling is crucial for understanding mineral deposits. Traditional methods use variograms to show geological patterns, but Multiple-Point Geostatistics (MPG) offers a more realistic approach. By using visual training images instead of variograms, MPG provides a better representation of the geology. In this study, the SNESIM algorithm was used to model lithological domains at a Brazilian iron ore deposit, showing promising initial results.
