The article discusses how computer models called CGE are helpful for understanding and making policies in countries that have changed their economic systems. These models were used in Hungary and Yugoslavia to look at how their economies changed. The focus was mainly on the Hungarian model. The researchers showed how these models can help understand things like how money is shared and plan for changes in the economy after making reforms.
