European cities revolutionize urban planning for sustainable transportation and quality of life.
Urban Mobility Plans in Europe aim to make cities more sustainable by reducing car use and promoting public transport and walking. These plans, known as Sustainable Urban Transport Plans, focus on improving quality of life, urban planning, and environmental protection. The study looked at four European cities to see how these plans are implemented and evaluated. The findings show that common goals and challenges exist across different countries, and strategies to overcome barriers in urban mobility planning were identified.
