Climate change is happening, and both reducing emissions (mitigation) and adapting to its impacts are crucial. This paper focuses on how to finance adaptation measures in developing countries. It discusses the challenges these countries face, estimates the funding needed for adaptation, and looks at the current status of adaptation funding. The goal is to understand how much money is being used for adaptation and identify potential obstacles for future funding.
