Business Process Management is important for businesses, and using Business Rules can help make it easier. This paper talks about two types of rules: management rules for designing processes, and functional rules for making decisions in processes. These rules can be turned into executable expressions. The researchers extended a framework called ARIS House of Business Engineering to show how business rules can be used in process design.
