North Dakota farmland values soar by 39%, driving expansion and profits.
Farmland values in North Dakota increased by 39% in 1975, with the average value per acre rising to 205 in 1974. The main reason for this increase is the strong demand from farmers looking to expand their existing farm units. Most of the farmland sold was bought by active and retiring farmers. Experts predict that farmland values will continue to rise in 1976.
