Floating seedling raising for hot pepper plants improves seed germination, seedling growth, and reduces disease incidence. Compared to traditional soil seedling raising, floating seedling raising increases seedling formation rate by 16% and decreases seedling emergence period by 7 days. It also boosts seedling health index by 28.6% and root activity by 157.8%, while reducing whitefly incidence by 77.3%. This method is efficient and effective for producing high-quality hot pepper seedlings.
