Different fertilizer treatments were tested on maize to see their effects on yield and nutrient absorption. The formula fertilization treatment (OPT) resulted in the highest grain yield during the seedling stage and later periods. OPT had a 3.6% and 30.4% higher yield compared to conventional treatment (FP) and control (CK). The increase in N,P,K fertilizer led to higher nutrient absorption and improved N,P,K content in maize seeds. Phosphorus was found to be the main limiting nutrient in the soil, followed by potassium.
