The study looked at how different ways of adding potash fertilizer affect the growth and yield of spring maize. They found that using 90 kg/hm2 of potash fertilizer, with half added at the beginning and half later on, gave the highest yield. Adding potash fertilizer later in the growth stage improved maize yield. However, as the amount of potash fertilizer increased, its efficiency decreased. Applying potash fertilizer multiple times was more effective than applying it all at once. The best method was using half the fertilizer at the beginning and half later on.
