The researchers made bio-briquettes from durian shell waste to use as renewable energy. They tested the ash content, heating value, and flame test of the bio-briquettes. The bio-briquettes met household fuel standards, with 7.7% ash content, a heat value of 5040 cal/gr, and a 55-minute flame test. The durian shell bio-briquettes are a good source of renewable energy.
