Waste Biomass Briquettes Could Fuel Developing Nations' Energy Needs
The researchers studied making fuel from rice husk and coconut shell. They found that coconut shell has higher energy and density than rice husk. Briquettes made from a mix of the two had good energy values. The best ratio was 90% rice husk and 10% coconut shell, giving the highest energy. This mix could be a good alternative solid fuel.
