Transnational Companies Embrace Climate Policies Across Various Sectors and Geographies
Transnational companies play a big role in climate change policies. This study looked at why some companies support these policies while others don't. They found that factors like exposure to fossil fuels, transnational operations, consumer influence, institutional environment, and investor pressure can affect a company's stance on climate policies. The study showed that these factors can explain why some companies in various sectors and locations support climate policies. This research suggests more areas to explore in the future.
