Deliberative Minipublics: Enhancing Democracy Through Public Deliberation Spaces.
This article examines the practice of deliberative democracy in our society, focusing on the activities of public deliberation committees. It looks at how discussions within these committees affect participants and whether they strengthen overall societal discussion capabilities. The study suggests that the tension between deliberation and democracy is not an unsolvable dilemma but rather provides valuable insights for the theory and practice of deliberative democracy.
