Turning Waste Cooking Oil into Gold: Boosting Energy in Wood Pellets
Wood pellets were treated with waste cooking oil to increase their energy content. Adding 12% oil boosted the calorific value by 12-16% and reduced ash content by 16-38%. Carbon and hydrogen levels also rose by 7.5-12% and 7.0-10.0%, respectively. This method shows promise for enhancing pellet energy value.
