Companies thriving by integrating water into business strategy, study finds
The study used a method called Qualitative-Comparative Analysis to see if companies include water in their business plans. They looked at factors like evaluating water's impact, experiencing water-related problems, requiring suppliers to report on water, and seeing opportunities related to water. Results suggest that evaluating water's effects and identifying water-related opportunities are common in companies that integrate water into their business strategies. However, these factors are not always necessary for companies to do so.
