A system was designed to fix the problem of seeds being planted incorrectly by potato seeders. It includes a detection system, a compensation system, and a visual monitoring system. Tests showed that the detection system was over 98.5% accurate, and after reseeding, miss-seeding rates were below 5%. The visual monitoring system had a 99.5% counting accuracy. This system is effective in fixing miss-seeding issues with spoon-chain potato seeders.
