The article discusses using waste and biomass as renewable energy sources to replace non-renewable resources. By drying and pyrolysis, the heating value of raw materials can be increased. Pyrolysis can turn waste into fuel or additives for fuels, making it a sustainable way to produce energy and manage waste. Local production from local resources can boost land use, create jobs, and enhance energy self-sufficiency. By combining biomass, waste, and pyrolysis products, the heating value can be raised by more than 20 MJ/kg.
